I’m Rowan Hale, a British landscape and wildlife photographer. My field practice is rooted in curiosity rather than pursuit: reading weather, keeping distance, and allowing a place to reveal its own rhythm.
On each walk, technical guidance sits alongside fieldcraft, visual storytelling and the shared responsibility to leave no trace.

Before we step
outside
Do I need an advanced camera?＋
No. A phone, compact camera or interchangeable-lens camera can all support careful observation and composition.
What happens in poor weather?＋
Routes are adapted to conditions. If safety or habitat protection is affected, the walk is postponed or relocated.
How close do we get to wildlife?＋
Never closer than is responsible. We use long lenses, quiet movement and established guidance, and we do not bait or pursue animals.
Can a companion join me?＋
